As I wrap up my M.S. in Business Data Science and Analytics, I'm thrilled to share that I have started a new position as a Data Analyst for University Advancement at Michigan State University! I'm excited to embrace the opportunities and challenges that come with branching into a new field, and I look forward to working with Matt Riggs and the rest of the Business Process Improvement and Analysis team at UA. The MSU Business Data Science & Analytics Masters Program is currently looking for a project sponsor for a spring project course. For the project, sponsors historically have provided rich (deidentified) data for students to perform exploration of the data and answer business problem statements involving descriptive, predictive and/or prescriptive modeling. The same project will be completed by multiple teams, bringing diverse views into the solutions for the sponsoring organization. There is no required monetary cost to participate.
