The Board of Advocates at Michigan State University College of Law is a student organization dedicated to intensive advocacy training in a competitive environment. The Board of Advocates consists of all members of Michigan State University College of Law Competition teams led by an elected Executive Board. The program provides students the opportunity to further develop written, oral and team-based advocacy skills. Each year, members of the Board travel across the country to compete against other law schools for top honors. The Board of Advocates has developed a prestigious national presence, built by years of hard work and dedicated members. The Board looks forward to carrying on this winning tradition far into the future.

CHAMPIONS!! Amanda Igra and Joe Greene came in first place over the weekend at the National Wechsler Moot Court competition in D.C. They also received a best brief award! Joe Greene was ranked second best oralist overall, and Amanda Igra was ranked fifth best oralist overall! We are so proud of this team. Well done!

Calling all MSU Law Alumni! We are still very much in need of judges for our internal moot court competition on November 8th and 9th. Nov. 8 is 2 preliminary rounds at the Law College (5:30-8:30 p.m. e.s.t. timeframe). Nov. 9 (Saturday) we need judges for quarterfinals/semifinals at the Law College starting at 9 a.m. If you are available and willing to judge any of those days, we need you!!
