Happy National Women in Construction Week! ?? Meet Sarah, a 6th-level apprentice who's proudly working with us. Sarah was inspired to become an electrician by her mom, a former electrician on one of our airport teams. Currently, Sarah is contributing to our Verizon 5G project and supporting various MAC infrastructure projects! While women make up only 2-3% of electricians, we’re proud to have 11% of our team made up of women. We’re committed to breaking barriers and paving the way for more women in the industry! #MSPElectric #MSPAirport #EmployeeSpotlight #OnTheGrid #WIC #WICweek2025

关于我们
Since we’ve opened our doors, our primary focus has been on the never-ending growth of new construction and remodeling within the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. The opportunity to conduct business and assist in creating an inviting atmosphere within our own “local” airport has been beyond gratifying and memorable. Over and above that we look forward to expanding our services into the MSP area.

On the Grid:? James Zalesky – General Foreman We’re excited to shine our very first employee spotlight on James Zalesky, one of our exceptional General Foremen, who has been with us since March 2022. With a career spanning 17 years in the electrical field, James brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project he leads. James earned his associate’s degree in 2005 from Dunwoody School of Technology in Electrical Construction & Maintenance and completed a 5 year apprenticeship through the IBEW 292 JATC. Currently, James is working on the 2022 BHS project and the 2022 West CBIS Recapitalization project, both of which he has been involved in for the past 2 1/2 years. Some of James and his crew's greatest achievements here at MSP Electric include: - Demolishing 750,000 feet of old control wiring and pulling over 1.6 million feet of new control wiring - Removing 13 old motor control panels, modifying 8 active motor control panels, and installing 13 new motor control panels - Demolishing 230 old motors and installing 250 new motors - Demolishing 2,500 linear feet of old conveyor and installing 3,000 linear feet of new conveyor All this work was completed in an active BHS system at MSP Airport, with minimal impact on daily operations. Outside of work, James enjoys sharing his passion for the outdoors with his three girls. Whether it’s fishing, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, embarking on cross-country motorcycle trips, or restoring old boats and cars, James is always up for an adventure. When it comes to food, James enjoys a variety of styles, but Southern-style fried dishes with all the fixings hold a special place in his heart. James’ leadership, technical expertise, and dedication to both his work and his family make him an invaluable member of our team. We’re lucky to have him with us!? Check out this article written about the project that James is working on?? https://buff.ly/4aG2htl #MSPElectric #MSPAirport #EmployeeSpotlight #OnTheGrid

Chris Anderson, a mentor at Dunwoody College of Technology, had the opportunity to speak with students today. He shared MSP Electric's journey, answered their questions, provided guidance on the electrical industry, and even brought along hats and donuts. It was a great way to inspire and connect with the next generation of electricians!??
