As VP, his development of Stanmore Implants' US platform led to the company's acquisition by Stryker in 2016. Leonard's illustrious career also included key leadership roles at both Zimmer Trauma and Synthes. Chris Lyons, founder of Southern Metrics Consulting (SMC), brings over 30 years of Musculoskeletal Industry experience to enhance medical device organizations' paths to successful exits. Previously, he led Business Development at Medtronic Spine & Biologics after starting his career at Smith+Nephew. As past chairman and current board member of the Southeast Medical Device Association (SEMDA), Chris offers expertise in M&A, fundraising, start-ups, and corporate growth, while his consulting firm focuses on disruptive technologies and strategic guidance. William Rhoda, an orthopedics veteran who began at Synthes Spine before becoming a founding member at Globus Medical, developed innovative processes that cut product development time from over two years to just 12 months. After leaving Globus in 2012, he has launched medical technology ventures, co-founded a successful MedTech venture capital firm, and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer of Runway Management Corp. A Drexel University graduate, Rhoda chairs the Dean's Executive Advisory Council for their Biomedical Engineering school. Dr. Wollowick holds an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an MBA from Yale, with extensive research contributions to the field of orthopedics. David Dvorak served as President and CEO of Zimmer Biomet for 10 years during his 16-year career with the company. Under his leadership, he grew revenues from $3.5 billion to $7.7 billion, notably championing the $13.4 billion Biomet acquisition and the purchase of Medtech SA, which brought the ROSA surgical robot to market. David has consistently emphasized the importance of enabling technologies, data, and analytics in improving surgical outcomes.
