Our foundation has reached a tremendous amount of students through Holocaust education grants since our inception in 2019, but we're only getting started! This incredible work is done in honor of our foundation's namesake, Mark Schonwetter, who survived the Holocaust as a young Jewish boy in Poland by hiding in the forests as well as in the homes of righteous Polish families. Mark and his daughters, Ann Arnold and Isabella (Schonwetter) Fiske, are honored to share his story with adults and students all over the US. The Claims Conference is educating new generations through immersive virtual environments like the “Inside Kristallnacht” experience.
