This week, LIHTC Allocations Manager Elizabeth Rademacher represented MSHDA at two ribbon cuttings in Detroit, The Anchor at Mariners Inn and Left Field. Development partners Mariners Inn and Cinnaire celebrated the grand opening of The Anchor at Mariners Inn, a unique development that includes residential treatment and housing programs designed to expand critical services for residents battling substance use disorder and homelessness. Local officials and Corktown residents gathered to celebrate the opening of Left Field – a $22M+ residential development at the former Tiger Stadium site. This exciting project is part of Detroit’s Choice Neighborhoods Implementation (CNI) plan, transforming Greater Corktown with more affordable and quality housing options. Of its 60 units, 48 are reserved as affordable housing.
