As part of #HispanicHeritageMonth, Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. and Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. hosted a community event in the Bronx in partnership with Garden of Dreams and their community-based partner, WHEDco. The festivities included New York Knicks basketball skills and drills, New York Rangers ball hockey, a Radio City Rockettes dance station, and an appearance by Westchester Knicks mascot Hudson! To wrap up the afternoon, food was provided by a local LatinX-owned food vendor. A special shout out to the New York Knicks partner, Kia America, for helping make this day possible and Bronx Borough President Hon. Vanessa L. Gibson, MPA (She, Her, Hers, Ella) for joining us.?

Today, the MSG Family of Companies announced an expanded partnership with Verizon, naming America’s leading telecommunications company the Official Mobile Wireless Partner across the companies’ portfolio. This first-of-its-kind integrated marketing partnership provides exposure for Verizon across Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., Madison Square Garden Sports Corp., and Sphere Entertainment Co.’s premier sports and entertainment assets. Through the new premium platform, Verizon Access, Verizon customers have exclusive access to select tickets for concerts and comedy shows at MSG Entertainment venues in New York and Chicago and exclusive access to select tickets for all concerts at Sphere plus Sphere’s original content. In addition, in New York, Verizon and MSG Entertainment will partner on the creation of two Verizon-branded hospitality spaces at Madison Square Garden. Both the “Verizon Club” at Madison Square Garden and the “Verizon Lounge” at The Theater at MSG will be open to select Verizon customers across a variety of live events each year – including the best in concerts and comedy. Motorola will become an Official Partner of Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks and New York Rangers – including as the exclusive partner of the famed Celebrity Row at Knicks and Rangers games. During the MSG Family of Companies' annual back-to-school giveaway, Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., Madison Square Garden Sports Corp., and Sphere Entertainment Co. donated backpacks and much needed school supplies to almost 8,000 students across Burbank, Chicago, Las Vegas, and New York. ? To all the students and educators headed back to school, have a fun and successful year! Thanks to Garden of Dreams, Cradles to Crayons Chicago, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, Boys & Girls Clubs of Burbank and Greater East Valley, New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), and over 50 New York elected officials?including Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, Council Member Kamillah M. Hanks, and the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President, Antonio Reynoso for starting the school year with us!

This week, the New York Knicks announced that Jalen Brunson has been named the 36th Captain in franchise history. Congratulations, Jalen! You were destined to lead our New York Knicks.
