We started out as the Microsoft Midwest Toastmasters Club (we used to meet in Chicagoland and online) - now meets online exclusively for the foreseeable future. We rebranded as the Microsoft Speakers Club and Teresa B. Cyrus helped us in 2023 rebrand as the Microsoft Speakers Hub! In 2024 we have over 2,200 followers, a weekly online show and host the monthly “Journey To The Cloud”. Our two newsletters also are an opportunity for others to become part of the tech community and network with others passionate about cloud, Microsoft and tech in general!

    November, 26th 2024. This year, my birthday feels different. It is not merely a day to celebrate but to reflect, to pause and sift through the sands of time, where the moments—both glittering and grim—lie buried. It has been a year of paradoxes, a year of "mosts." The most I have struggled, but also the most I have grown. The most I have lacked, yet the most I have learned the art of sufficiency. The most I have laughed, and the most I have cried. It was as though life, in its relentless way, handed me a balance scale and said, "Here, hold this, and don’t tip over." This past year has been one of transition—a new environment, new challenges, and new lessons. It was not the polished, easy scene in the movie of my life. Instead, it was the raw, unfiltered, behind-the-scenes footage, where the sweat and tears remind you why the story matters in the first place. I felt stretched in ways I hadn’t anticipated. There were moments of silence so deafening they forced me to confront my thoughts, and moments of laughter so healing they erased scars I thought I would carry forever. Yet, through it all, there has been clarity—a knowing that this year was not just random chaos but intentional growth. The Author of my story has been weaving the threads in ways I might not yet understand, but I trust the beauty that lies ahead. As I blow out the candles this year, I find myself making wishes that sound less like demands and more like prayers: For a heart that embraces both the ups and the downs. For eyes that see beyond struggles to the lessons beneath. For courage to dream boldly and live fully. And above all, for grace—grace to walk through life with my head held high, no matter how heavy the crown. This coming year feels like a blank page, and I long to fill it with the kind of narrative that speaks of faith, resilience, and purpose. I will color it with every bright color and I trust my Author to make it a very interesting story. I want it to be the year of daring more and fearing less, the year of showing up for myself with the same energy I give to others. I hope to find joy not only in the thrill of big victories but also in the quiet triumphs—the mornings I choose gratitude over grumbling, the nights I let peace cradle me to sleep. This birthday, I am reminded that life is neither a fairy tale nor a thriller but a story uniquely mine. It is a story I will keep writing, even in moments when the ink runs dry or the plot seems unclear. Because at the end of the day, it’s my story, and I am determined to live it with all the hope, wonder, and audacity my soul can muster. And when the credits roll—whether it’s this year or many years to come—I pray the story ends with, "…and she truly lived, fully and deeply, in every sense of the word.” Happy Birthday, God's Blessings!??

    ???Microsoft Releases November 2024 Security Updates for Exchange Server??? Microsoft has just released Security Updates (SUs) for vulnerabilities found in Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Server 2016. These updates are available for Exchange Server 2019 CU13 and CU14, and Exchange Server 2016 CU23. Although there are no active exploits in the wild, it is highly recommended to install these updates immediately to protect your environment. ???Key Highlights: AMSI Integration Improvements:?Products using Exchange Server AMSI integration can now perform additional tasks on message bodies. This feature is disabled by default and can be enabled on a per-protocol basis. Start with a subset of services to avoid potential performance issues. Non-compliant RFC 5322 P2 FROM Header Detection:?A new feature to detect non-RFC 5322 compliant P2 FROM headers in incoming emails, addressing vulnerability CVE-2024-49040. ECC Certificate Support Improvements:?ECC certificates can now be used on Edge Transport servers and bound to POP and IMAP services. Note the change in enabling ECC Certificate support from a New-SettingOverride to creating a registry value. ???Update Installation: Install the Latest CU:?Use the Exchange Update Wizard to get directions. Inventory Your Exchange Servers:?Use the Exchange Server Health Checker script to determine needed updates. Re-run Health Checker Post-Installation:?Ensure no further actions are needed. Encounter Errors??Run the SetupAssist script or see the documentation for repair instructions.
