Respect to the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) and their century of basic research and economic development support. For nearly 25 years, #WARF has helped deliver the "Intellectual Property, Patents and Licensing" course for the M.S. in Biotechnology Program, UW-Madison with the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Teams of students choose a technology from a list of WARF patents and assess its commercial potential as a future biotechnology product. Some of those technologies have led to #Madison startup companies and helped fuel the Wisconsin #biohealth industry's growth.
