??Data Hygiene Roundtable Success: Empowering Mississippi Health Centers for UDS+ Excellence???
On November 14, 2024, Mississippi Health Safe Net (MHSN) hosted another impactful Data Hygiene Roundtable, led by MICHAEL EDWARDS, MHSN’s Director of Training and Quality. This engaging session welcomed 25 participants from 13 health centers across the state, including 11 MHSN members.?
?? Event Highlights:
- Attendees participated in interactive UDS quality table quizzes (Tables 6A, 6B, and 7), competing for door prizes. Real-time responses sparked deeper discussions, especially when a majority answered incorrectly.??
- The Mississippi Department of Health's MIIX team joined virtually to provide updates on the immunization interface project, supporting health centers in advancing immunization data-sharing capabilities.??
- Later in the day, Jillian Maccini led a robust Q&A session addressing questions from October's UDS training and offering clarity on new concerns raised during the event.?
?? Primary Focus: This roundtable aimed to ensure health centers are accurately documenting quality measures, laying a strong foundation for UDS+ reporting.
??? Looking Ahead: Participants expressed interest in a follow-up meeting in February 2025, after EHB submissions, to continue preparing for 2025 UDS reporting.?
?? A big thank-you to all who attended and contributed to the success of this event! Together, we’re driving quality improvements and setting the stage for better outcomes across Mississippi.?
