Last night members of the MRP Industrial team (D. Reid Townsend, Connor Balloun, Will Hudson and Nathan Chadsey) enjoyed a special night at Camden Yards for the Orioles game against the San Francisco Giants. After an early afternoon post at Pickles, pregame activities included field passes for batting practice (unfortunately they needed more) and a dugout pep talk to give the young O’s a morale boost for a stretch run into the playoffs. Fingers crossed for a return to October baseball in Baltimore!?

MRP Industrial’s Kate Nolan Bryden spoke at Bisnow's Baltimore State of the Market to provide insight into challenges and opportunities in the regional commercial real estate market and the role industrial development projects play in that growth. Bryden highlighted that over the past 10 years, industrial assets have yielded 2-3 times the returns of other product types and that Baltimore and the Mid-Atlantic region are well-positioned for continued growth.?She discussed the success of MRP Industrial’s recently completed redevelopment of City Logistics, a 300,000 SF Class “A” industrial park located in southwest Baltimore City and how her team worked with the community throughout the project. “Industrial buildings are the foundation of the commercial real estate landscape and the development of new parks or redevelopment of functionally obsolete product presents a tremendous opportunity for economic development within Baltimore City. We need to encourage and support more urban infill industrial projects like City Logistics by improving the entitlement and permitting process so new companies have confidence in moving their businesses and employees to Baltimore City. Focusing on those fundamentals along with improving our transportation network and re-energizing our waterfront areas could certainly help Baltimore become the next Nashville.”?
