The ST Engineering Commercial Aerospace team came together at Mandai Wildlife Group Reserve for a meaningful tree planting event, reinforcing our commitment to #sustainability.?Just like in our industry, success comes from strong roots, resilience and #teamwork.?Special thanks to the team who organized the entire tree planting event at Mandai Bird Paradise. Preparation was fantastic, with lots of water, bug spray, gloves and shoe covers. Like everything we do, safety was the priority, including having an ambulance on standby in case someone got hurt.?On a side note, the Bird Paradise within Mandai Wildlife Reserve is a beautiful place, there are several open areas where the birds just fly openly around. “Collaboratreeing” – a term coined by Richard (Rick) Wehmer, President of ST Engineering MRAS – sums up the event.?Working with colleagues from our global business units to give back to our community as part of our CSR outreach, together we planted 130 trees between two sessions.?The newly planted trees will help to regenerate the forest that has deteriorated from invasive plant species and debris left behind by abandoned human activities.
