I want to take a moment to thank Accenture, Warrior Consulting Group, MPREP Scholars, Sarangi Nair, Victoria Shubelyak, Amulen Rozmus, Christina Winkler Meredith, and Kevin Ketels, Lauren Scott for their support in allowing my peers and I to partake in such a fun Case Study Competition last Friday. In the weeks leading up to the big day, my team and I felt so supported and encouraged by the organizers of this initiative and this is why we were able to excel and land 3rd place! I sincerely would not have learned so much from this experience without the engagement of those who consistently prioritise the success of our campus. Their dedication has allowed us, as students, to showcase our skills and passion on a broader stage, and for that, I am truly thankful. Thank you to my teammates Nikolas Stojanovic , Joseph Burton , and Gwen Pinger for your hard work and for being so fun to work with! Thank you to the Accenture judges Branden Dasilva , Dena Dalal, Naomi Gross, Alexandra Perkins , Shivani Upadhyay, and Emily Bachi who were so encouraging and enthusiastic.

The first ever Accenture x Wayne State University Consulting Case Competition, held on Friday November 8, was a success! In my opening remarks, I discussed how collaboration between MPREP Scholars and Warrior Consulting Group launched this joint venture. Collaboration is at the core of business and in the past 4 weeks, our 5 student teams have harnessed it to ideate innovative solutions to address two global challenges-food waste and food insecurity. Watching the teams present to our panel of Accenture judges, I was inspired by the vast talents possessed by my fellow #Warriors and humbled to have organized this inaugural event. I wish to thank all of the Case Competition teams for their dedication and resilience, which made Friday possible. Additionally, congratulations to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams-you represent the best of Ilitch Business. My heartfelt gratitude to Accenture and the Ilitch Business Alumni Council for generously supporting the Case Competition. A special thank you my partners, Victoria Shubelyak and Sarangi Nair, and our faculty advisors, Kevin Ketels and Lauren Scott, for developing and launching the Case Competition. Through collaborative partnerships like these, Wayne State University - Mike Ilitch School of Business is preparing its students to Innovate, Impact and Inspire and to succeed from College to Career.
