We will be discussing a very important and powerful topic of The Human Face of Events: Focusing on Human Trafficking . Our speaker Jasmine Grace, an effective keynote speaker, panel participant and facilitator for trainings, workshops and groups. She is a survivor of sex trafficking and drug addiction and has spoken on panels at the U.S Commission on Civil Rights in New Hampshire and at two side panels for members of the United Nations in New York. SAVE THE DATE for our next Educational Event: The Human Face of Events 11/12/2024 5:30pm-8:30pm - Convention Center at Waltham Woods Human trafficking is a grave violation of human rights, affecting millions worldwide. This session aims to educate participants about the complexities of human trafficking, raise awareness of its signs, and empower individuals to take action against this global issue. We will cover definitions, types, and prevalence of human trafficking, including sex trafficking and labor exploitation. Participants will learn to recognize warning signs and the various factors that contribute to vulnerability, such as poverty, lack of education, and systemic discrimination.
