We are excited to welcome Andre Stein as a Board Member. A Moya enthusiast since the beginning—he even suggested the name Moya—Stein brings a wealth of experience to our team. He is a Mechanical Engineer from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, an Executive Scholar in Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and a Fellow at the Royal Aeronautical Society. His impressive career includes leading Embraer’s Commercial Aviation Product and Market Strategy throughout the E-Jets E2 development and, as a visionary leader, co-founding Embraer-X and Eve Air Mobility. He is currently based in Seattle and is CEO of electric aviation pioneer Eviation Aircraft . We greatly value his talent and forward-thinking approach. As both a coworker and a friend, we know he will make substantial contributions with his business acumen and knowledge about aerospace and the air mobility market. The Moya team is excited to welcome Rafael Tovo as our new System Engineer. He will serve as the systems integrator for our drone and control station. Rafael is a graduate of Embraer's Engineering Specialization Program (PEE)?and holds a professional master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering focusing on systems from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA Aeronáutica. Before joining Moya, Rafael gained valuable experience in development, integration, and systems safety at Embraer and Delta System Solutions in Munich. We want to highlight our colleague, Desuita "Dzu" Campelo, MSc, who joined the team a year and a half ago. Dzu became our Head of Strategy in August 2023 and immediately made an impact, shaking things up within the organization. We didn't even take the time to announce her arrival. However, it's never too late to recognize this electronic engineer, who brings diverse experience and a fresh perspective to every discussion. Her professional contributions are always intriguing. Dzu is closely connected to innovation, and her curiosity has led her down various paths in aviation before coming to Moya. Dzu is now focusing on Moya's R&D, helping cement our leadership in advanced air mobility. In 2024, Moya had an exceptional year. In addition to?successfully performing the transition flight on September 5th, we achieved numerous milestones, all supported by our partners Finep, Fundepar - Fundep Participa??es S.A., HARDS, and Techstars Los Angeles Accelerator. Our team grew as we attracted talent interested in sustainable technology and innovation. With this expanded team, we relocated to a new headquarters to continue testing and developing our second prototype. Our headquarters hosted companies like BASF and Renault Group throughout the year, enhancing our relationships and paving the way for new technological and commercial partnerships. We showcased our prototype at the DroneShow - Expo eVTOL in May, which captured significant attention. We then participated in several events across Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, and S?o Paulo, exchanging experiences and gaining valuable insights. Additionally, Alexandre Zaramela was recognized in the eVTOL Insights Year Book 2024 for his crucial role in the electrical vertical take-off and landing aircraft industry. He participated in key panels that united industry leaders, presenting Moya's perspectives at several events in Europe and North America, such as Revolution.Aero, Move América, and Corporate Jet Investor & Helicopter & VTOL Investor.
