I’m excited to be a speaker at SEEHER's Women’s History Month Member Meeting on March 19! This can’t-miss event will dive deep into driving business growth through accurate representation. I’m particularly excited for my fireside chat, where a mother and daughter will share insights on how Gen Alpha girls are influencing digital culture and how millennial moms are adapting their parenting and brand expectations. We’ll also dive into how Moxies is shaping the future of social spaces for the next generation. I’m honored to join a group of passionate advocates to spark conversations that truly matter. WARNING. HUGE FLEX BELOW. OUR WINS ARE TYPICALLY UNHEARD OF IN THE EDTECH SPACE…AND PEOPLE ARE NOTICING.. Could Puberry Be the Next Duolingo… But for #Health? Puberry is growing fast, students are OBSESSED, and the demand is REAL. This week marks 2 years since Puberry’s incorporation, and 1.5 months since our official launch of ALL three Puberry web-app interfaces for students, parents, and teachers. And, what did we achieve while bootstrapping, being scrappy and resourceful the past 2 years? … Well, aside from building 3 interfaces, here’s a few of our big wins that are defying the #EdTech odds… ;) ?? Earning 4x the Average EdTech revenue PSPY with just a DEMO version! (We’re filling a MAJOR gap in health education …view link in comments) ?? Impacting 700+ students through ORGANIC demand with schools and partners reaching out to US ?? Receiving 5-star ratings & raving reviews/testimonials! (Check-out some of my previous posts, linked in comments) ?? Generating a projected pipeline of ~85,000 users (students) with ZERO advertising, leveraging partnerships, the flywheel effect, and preparing to enter NYC’s DOE -> Conversations / Sales with schools are EASY, FUN and NATURAL for us! ?? Securing 14 National Partnerships & the Newest one → Moxies , expanding into more communities & after-school programs ??? Making health education ACTUALLY EASY, FUN, and EFFECTIVE & Being recognized as a finalist at the National Oracle Health Pediatric Accelerator Competition! ? ? ? ? ? +90% increase in comfortability and confidence among youth talking about health with peers ? ? ? ? ? +61% increase in test scores So… could we be the next Duolingo, but for health? The signs are there. ?? Plus, middle schoolers are ruthlessly honest, and their feedback? "We want more lessons, more character outfits, and more Puberry!" Several students even sketched their own character for our in-app store! We’re super excited about the next phase of #Puberry and turning our projections into reality! ?? A crucial part of Moxies is building with our community of girls & parents. Yesterday, we got to share what we're doing with a smart, curious and fun group of girls (ages 10-15) from Code/Art. I took them through my journey of being a founder in tech, we showed them a randomly generated "game" to create their own Moxies and took them through our prototype demo. (big s/o to my team Stella Brown & Hermine Brindak!) Some key takeaways: - They asked a lot of questions around the safety of Moxies and wanted to make sure it wouldn't be like other platforms that aren't actually safe and have a lot of bullying - They shared with us some brands they'd love to see us collaborate with like Hollister Co., American Eagle Outfitters Inc. and sports organizations like the World Cup, Olympics etc. - To them "moxie" means: determination, being confident, persistent in your work, not being afraid to do something you like, having love and being brave (YES!!!) - They were very eager to get on Moxies, asking many times when it would be live and if they could get early access - And to that point, they all asked to be beta testers :) ALL of these girls have so much moxie and there's nothing more I love than building alongside them. We're building Moxies with our community of girls, parents, educators, doctors, and anyone who generally cares about the digital well-being of this next generation. Our waitlist is 1,000 strong and only growing! Our commitment is to create a safer and more digitally resilient future for this next generation of girls. We'd love for you to join us. "With U.S. households with 6- to 12-year kids spending 27% more on skin care last year than they did the year before, per?a report from NielsenIQ, beauty has become a fixation for Gen Alpha. And it’s not only a distraction from camp activities—it’s a full-blown obsession. Skincare is certainly the latest fad among Gen Alpha, a demographic who appear to want to?grow up fast. The generation born between 2010 and today, now nearing teenagedom, are entranced with beauty influencers and vulnerable to brands associated with status. Influencer beauty content online has not only?helped drive sales?of cosmetic products, but also encouraged Gen Alpha—who spend?over two hours per week?online shopping—to use their parents’ credit card to buy popular brands. “Whether we like it or not, many kids are chronically online, having grown up with the internet,” Alex Popken, vice president of trust and safety at content moderation service WebPurify,?told?Fortune. “They have a level of digital literacy in navigating sites above and beyond what their parents have.” This is crazy. And this is one of the many reasons why we are building Moxies. We have to build platforms to serve Gen Alpha in a healthy, personalized and empowering way, instead of their current landscape that serves that age inappropriate content and leads to skin-care-obsessed 9 year olds using products that meant for people over 2x their age. Through our confidence enabling quests, Moxies enables girls to learn and earn, but avoiding toxic and harmful content. Yes, girls love skincare and beauty, so let's empower them with info around products meant for them... and let them get rewarded from those brands in a meaningful way. Confident & empowered girls is our goal, while still enabling them to connect and play in a healthy, safe environment.

It was a busy week at #nyctechweek for Moxies One of our favorite events with the Digital Parenthood Summit put on by Aura. We were inspired by a lineup of incredible researchers, authors, educational leaders, and digitally native teens- to name a few. *Parenthood Summit Digest* Parents should approach their child's relationship with technology, focusing on understanding rather than controlling the situation. Since technology is here to stay, they should use it to enable digital confidence. Parents can better support and guide their child's tech journey by taking a step back and gaining a holistic understanding of their child's digital interactions. OVERALL MAJOR TAKEAWAYS FROM THE SUMMIT:? - Approach your child's digital experiences with understanding and curiosity: Engage in conversations with your child about their online experiences, exploring what aspects they find beneficial and which ones are harmful or causing challenges. - Foster digital confidence in an evolving tech landscape:?Recognize the permanence of technological advancements and strive to comprehensively understand your child’s digital experiences to support their growth and safety online. - Advocate for child-friendly digital spaces:?As technology advances, companies must prioritize the well-being of young users by designing apps that genuinely promote the health and development of children and teenagers. Big tech is not designing apps with kids' well-being in mind, causing harm.? - Promote personalized and interactive online experiences for children:?Shift the focus from mindless content consumption to offering healthy personalized and engaging digital spaces that cater to each child's unique interests, moving beyond default content delivery. ?WHAT MOXIES IS DOING? - Moxies avoids dark patterned persuasive designs that existing social media platforms are built with. We have the well-being of Gen Alpha girls at the forefront of our mission,?as Moxies is a place for girls to?cultivate creative confidence and grow their digital literacy. - Current social media platforms are unsafe and have unmoderated content. Moxies uses?AI and human moderation, ensuring COPPA compliance. Moxies is?built for girls alongside our community, working with parents, teens, and Gen Alpha girls?to create something that is not just safe and healthy but that they actually want to use. - Moxies avatars feature thousands of?inclusive and diverse traits, including different body types and puberty traits. This gives girls the chance to?reflect their unique identity and activate self-expression. - Moxies is focused on?active creation over passive consumption.?We give users the chance to collaborate directly with brands through polls, posts, and quests to have their voices heard and be rewarded for their participation.?It’s create, play, and earn! Want the full digest? Join our waitlist and build better with us ?? www.moxiesx.xyz OH and last highlight, I got to meet Dr. Becky!
