Grammy-winning musician?John Legend?recently visited patients at Cincinnati Children's before performing a private benefit concert at Music Hall to support scientific research. Legend’s visit was part of the hospital’s annual Kaleidoscope fundraiser. While on the hospital’s Avondale campus, Legend attended a dedication ceremony for the newly named John Legend and Chrissy Teigen Family Lounge in the hospital’s Newborn Intensive Care Unit. The lounge, named in recognition of a donation from Legend, provides a space for families to rest and connect while their children receive care. Major League Baseball (MLB) Opening Day is one of the biggest days of the year in Cincinnati. While the focus is the start of Cincinnati Reds season, it’s also a showcase for many of Greater Cincinnati’s nonprofits and arts organizations. Dozens will be part of this year’s Corporation for Findlay Market parade. If you’re downtown today and see one of these organizations, make sure to snap a pic, say hello and then find other ways to show your support for them throughout the year. Play ball! Thrilled to unveil the cover for the April edition of Movers & Makers Magazine. It features Paul Kroner of downtown Cincinnati's StudioKroner. Paul and his environmentally charged exhibition, "All Else Pales," are our cover story this month. That ties into our overall theme of sustainability. We also take you inside the Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub and introduce you to some of the notables working to help improve the local environment and our region in the process. As always, Polly Campbell provides "The Last Word." The magazine is available online now. There's a link in the comment section. You'll start to see print editions in the next few days.
