The Inflation Reduction Act and the bipartisan Infrastructure Law promised some $700 billion to projects including clean energy initiatives and water system upgrades. Some projects have been funded and completed, while the future of others remains uncertain. Grist created a tool to track where more than $300 billion of the funds have been promised. Search by zip code, city name, or other location to track projects in your area. https://lnkd.in/gjHTZ6cB

MSC staffers recently had the honor of traveling to Montgomery and Selma, Ala., with our partners After Incarceration for Kingian Nonviolence Training. We're excited to share more about our experience at the Selma Center for Truth, Nonviolence, & Reconciliation with you soon! We also visited The Legacy Sites, a series of powerful, educational, and beautiful sites in Montgomery. We're sharing this photo of #HarrietTubman, taken at Freedom Monument Sculpture Park during our visit. Tubman was born in March 1822, and died on this day in 1913. Tubman (whose birth name was Araminta Ross) was born an enslaved person in Maryland. After she escaped a life of slavery in 1849, she returned to Maryland 13 times to help others do the same. Visit the below to learn more about her extraordinary life and legacy. https://lnkd.in/gnkuF4z7
