"You miss 100% of the shot you don't take." - a saying my late father used to tell me that has stuck with me to this day. I got a chance do a keynote recently at the Association of University Research Parks (AURP) International Conference in Bentonville Arkansas for the Women of AURP which was a total honor. What was really special was getting a chance to spoke alongside Patricia Carper who started the Women of The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company (WOW) and shared the impact and numbers of women in the contracting/engineering space over the past 30 years. What was also really impactful was spending time with the various research park leaders over the next few days while experiencing the ever expanding and active Bentonville Arkansas. Also...BIG NEWS... Movement Rx is officially a member of Association of University Research Parks (AURP) which is very exciting! The work we do around the health of people AND their spaces and places (aka 'Well Zones') t was well received by this group of innovative thinkers and doers.
