Gary DiElsi has a unique background with over 25 years of commercial, operating and executive experience across multiple segments of the alternative and conventional energy industries, together with 15 years of experience as a private equity investment professional. He has served as an operating executive and Managing Director within two major PE firms, as an Investment Committee member, and as a Board Director and Advisor to more than 15 enterprises valued at over $10 billion, including refining/processing companies, alternative energy ventures, major marine terminals, shipping companies, midstream partnerships, power generators and a number of entrepreneurial technology startups. He has also held positions responsible for planning, contracting and executing capital projects as large as $2 billion on six continents. Through Mountain Pass Energy, Mr. DiElsi now serves major investment firms as an Independent Board Director, Senior Advisor and Operating Partner. Mr. DiElsi's diverse background provides an uncommon context for alternative and conventional energy investments from both the industrial and investor perspective. His broad commercial understanding of the interdependences between segments of the industry enables him to transcend traditional silos of experience and informs a differentiated view.
