Mountain Brook Made: Addison Wint ('22) was kind enough to spend a day last week with Sra. Creech’s AP Spanish students talking to them about her experiences in Perú this past summer. Addison is a junior at the University of Georgia. This past summer, she was part of a student exchange program between premed students at Georgia and medical students at la Universidad César Vallejo in Trujillo, Perú. Addison shared how the preparation she received at MBHS has opened doors for her in college. In particular, she believes that her ability to speak Spanish was an advantage in her being invited to participate in the program in Perú and continues to serve her well in her current position as an undergraduate research assistant at the Center for Developmental Science at the University of Georgia.? She encouraged the MBHS students to keep learning! “My students really enjoyed having someone just a few years older than they come speak to them about her adventures in the real world!” - Jessie Creech
