Postdoc Anastasia Paulmann has adopted a rising star in #comparativebiology as a model for #aging studies—the African turquoise killifish. The field of African turquoise killifish research is rapidly evolving, and the need for a platform where experts can come together, present their findings and discuss emerging trends is crucial to its success. This fall, a conference at MDI Bio Lab aimed to create an engaging environment for scientists at all stages of their careers to connect and explore this unique model organism: https://lnkd.in/gY24rV2r

12 years, 4 countries, tremendous amount of dedication and effort and at last I’ve attained my final academic degree of Doctor. As I congratulate this moment with you all, I would like to remember and thank everyone who has supported me in any way and become part of my journey. I have concluded my long studies and am venturing into the broader scientific world to achieve more and do more. I have more to give to science and to the world and I have shown that I can. I am committed and determined despite what I’ve encountered over the years. I am feeling the support and care of hundreds of people before me and for that I am grateful. I will continue to illuminate.
