Mouery’s Flooring is a locally owned, family-friendly flooring business in Springfield, MO. We opened in 2006 as The Carpet Center. In 2014, we moved from Seminole Road to South Scenic and became Mouery’s Carpet Center. After beginning the process of building a new flooring gallery and warehouse on Battlefield Rd, we stepped away from using Mouery’s Carpet Center and started using Mouery’s Flooring. A large part of our business consists of wood flooring, and we felt that the new name better represents what we do. We take a different approach to flooring than other, more traditional companies. We work to create an environment that simplifies the flooring experience while educating our customers. We strive for simplicity, style, and expertise. We have a team aspect and focus on meeting our customers' needs. The team members in our showroom do not work on commission and are salaried employees. This ensures that our customers receive the best help from our team. We are certified with the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), and continue to receive training in order to stay up to date on the most recent developments within the flooring industry. We continue to strive to find the best products in the market. We sell and offer quality installation on laminate, vinyl, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), luxury vinyl plank (LVP), carpet, carpet tile, hardwood, engineered hardwood, and flooring accessories.

We are so glad to have Jayson back in #417Land !!!
It can be challenging to return from vacation and jump back into work. Thankfully, it's a joy to do what I do at Mouery's Flooring and that makes it a little easier. April Workman and I were able to attend the Springfield Business Journal Forty Under Forty Celebration! So many great people from #417land are making an impact in our community. The SBJ crew did a great job putting on this event! I was able to meet Kristen Shanks from Wilgus IQ. She's new to her role but is excited to start doing business development for a great company. One of the more enjoyable things I get to do is meet up on the job site with builders. I was able to join Travis Pirtle from Pirtle Custom Homes on-site this week. He is a great person and builder. Then I got to spend time with Brandon Biskup from Kinetic Design + Development. He's an amazing architect who is doing some cool projects for his company! One of the key components of business development is relationship building. Since being in this role Mouery's Flooring I have taken a lot of meetings because you get to meet some super interesting people, and you never know where those conversations can lead. Take time to get to know people. I have found that there are some pretty incredible people in #417land that are making our community a great place to live, work and play!

In the damage restoration business, we often work with clients who need new flooring, and it’s important to us to refer them to a company we trust. April Workman and I had a great time supporting Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri last night! It was an amazing tailgate party. Laura Winstead & Kristin McDaniel did an incredible job putting this event together. We had such a wonderful time with friends Lee Hendrix & Erica Hendrix from Erica Lea Designs! Matt & Shelley Wehner from Concepts by Design we're able to join in on the fun! I am so thankful to work for a company like Mouery's Flooring that is consistently making an effort to impact and invest in our #417land!

Scott Ellis from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC stopped by Mouery's Flooring and helped us prepare for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC walk coming up in September. It is so much fun to participate in our non-profit efforts with Andrea Green, ? Lauren Dickey, Lauren Steffen, and Abigail Danielson! I am so thankful that many of our employees have a heart to make a difference in our local community. The Faith in Business Series was inspiring. It was cool to hear from our current police chief and his faith and trust in God as he does the work he does to protect our city. Jennifer Charleston was in attendance to support the chief and our police force. I am always encouraged by the participation of our Sunrise Rotary members! This week I was also able to drop off gifts to several of our property managers who work with Mouery's Flooring! Nixa Chamber was certainly fun this week, never a dull moment! It was a great time to connect with local business owners from Nixa. Whitney Guison does great leading the business efforts in the Nixa Community. Rotary Club of Springfield (Sunrise) lunch is always the best! Even when everyone doesn't look directly at the camera. I also got to tour Concepts by Design with owners Matt and Shelly, with one of the builders we work with. I am excited for Seth and Victoria and the growth they are experiencing at Scott Builders, LLC and to be able to introduce them to new partners! Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours was a lot of fun last night. It's always great to be Big Shots! I was enjoying running into local business leaders like Joshua Nixon; Mike Hayward; Jessica Tankersley; Ken Howard; Andrea Mueller; Mike Cosgrove; Alexandria Dool! As always, I’m so grateful to have April Workman by my side — she’s the best! What a great week!
