Every young person in Michigan should have access to life-changing afterschool programs. But for every Michigan child enrolled in afterschool, four more are waiting to get in. That’s why we, as organizations who support out-of-school time across the state, have joined together to back a new statewide campaign — All in Michigan: Afterschool for Every Child. Led by Michigan Afterschool Partnership, the campaign raises awareness about the power of these programs and puts our state on the path to a universal afterschool and summer system. Read more in this joint op-ed from the CEOs of Mott, The Skillman Foundation and Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation in The Detroit News.
