A big shout out to the folks at the TXDOT Odessa District! Construction on the Midkiff and Cotton Flat overpasses at I-20 is nearly complete and traffic at both intersections is opening shortly. Interstate traffic traveling over both overpasses begins this weekend with through traffic on Midkiff and Cotton Flat opening shortly after!

Texas Highway Patrol and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Troopers conducted directed patrol operations in an effort to reduce motor vehicle crashes and remove unsafe commercial motor vehicle drivers and vehicles off the highways throughout the Permian Basin.?? ?????????????????????? Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Troopers conducted operations on June 4-5th?and 19-20th, while Highway Patrol Troopers focused their efforts on June 11-12th . As a result of their combined enforcement efforts, a total of 641 commercial and non-commercial motor vehicles were apprehended. ?

We were excited to attend the landing of the first Delta flight in Midland this morning! Delta is currently operating 3 non-stop flights between Midland and Austin daily. In addition, with a host of new expanded flights from Austin to other locations (domestic and international) it's a great win for those who travel in the Permian Basin!

Texas Highway Patrol and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Troopers conducted directed patrol operations in an effort to reduce crashes and remove unsafe vehicles and drivers here in the Permian Basin. From Tuesday, April 9th through Thursday, April 11th, in conjunction with the New Mexico Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, and USDOT, and effort was made to identify carriers transporting hazardous materials in a manner inconsistent with regulations.

Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Troopers conducted operations on February 6-7th?and 21-22nd, while Highway Patrol Troopers focused their efforts on February 12-14th. As a result of their combined enforcement efforts, a total of 462 commercial and non-commercial motor vehicles were apprehended.??
