Today we’re shining a spotlight on MotMot Coffee ?? MotMot is a student-led and student-run organization here at Seattle University, and it has been incredible to see MotMot grow over the past school year after pausing operations during the pandemic. These students bring life to our campus by selling their coffee at The Bottom Line in the Pigott building, and by collaborating with campus events to promote their cause. This last quarter, MotMot made appearances at SU Gives, the Meet the Marketing Experts networking event, the Harriet Stephenson Business Plan Competition, and more. We couldn’t be prouder of these students! Watch them continue to grow ?? MotMot Coffee and shop their products here: https://motmotcoffee.com

We are beyond grateful to say that MotMot Coffee is back, brewing stronger than ever! After a pandemic pause, we have returned with a passionate team, a renewed mission, and a commitment to delicious coffee that makes a difference.? ? We would not be here without the incredible Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University. Their unwavering support, especially from Joseph Phillips, Alicia Kan, and Michele (Jackson) Weingeist, has been instrumental in our return. The same goes for the great guidance of our advisory board – a heartfelt thank you to Peter Rowan, Amelia Marckworth, Janie N., and Joseph Barnes for their expertise and mentorship.? ? Since relaunching in December 2023, we are now thrilled to be present in 1 out of the 5 campus coffee shops, The Bottom Line (Pigott building), bringing our ethically sourced coffee and vibrant energy directly to Seattle University students. But our impact extends beyond the cup. We are excited to embark on a new chapter with Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services, providing catering services and ensuring MotMot coffee fuels students, faculty, and staff throughout their events.? ? We have also been actively involved in the Seattle U community, engaging in events and tabling sessions to connect with students and share our story.? ? To further our mission and elevate our offerings, we had the humbling opportunity to interview coffee industry leaders like Jody Hall (CEO, Wunderground Coffee), Efrem Fesaha (CEO, Boon Boona Coffee), and even Sean Tresvant (CEO, Taco Bell)! Their insights have been invaluable in shaping MotMot's future.? ? With a strong foundation in place, a dedicated team, and the support of our amazing community, MotMot Coffee is back to embodying our mission. We are committed to expanding our reach, innovating new blends, and deepening our relationships with Nicaraguan cooperatives. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey and exciting new ways we are brewing a brighter future, one cup at a time!? ? Want to learn more about MotMot Coffee's mission and exciting future?
