Our Annual LP meetings are kind of like our Superbowl event except everyone is on the same team :) So much work goes into making it a special day for our LPs, but wow is it SO worth it. I've been smiling non-stop for a week. As my Motivate Venture Capital partner, Lauren, reminds everyone each year, the theme for the day for our 80+ LPs and founders is "connection" - to each other as LPs, to us as your fund managers, and to the founders that were able to join us. In our experience, when you put that much talent, intellect, and ambition in a room together for a few hours, great things are bound to happen. This year didn't disappoint! After bringing LPs up to speed on Fund I and II performance, and teasing the launch of Fund III mid-next year, we heard from several of our founders from Fulcrum, Boom, Dyania Health, ReloShare, MarkIII, Thrive Financial, Obviant, The Nmbr Company, and Lazarus AI. Absolutely exhilarating to get to see our founders pitch again - they are truly outstanding and it reenergized everyone in the room. Then we shuffled a few hundred yards over to Gibsons Restaurant Group Italia for an evening of delicious food and refreshing cocktails. Thank you to Lauren DeLuca Courtney Trunk and Jackson Bubala for your preparation....it really showed. Bonnie Kearns you are a superhuman when it comes to organizing events. As always, our delightful friends and counsel Scott Kapp Christine Korper and Adam Spector were such gracious hosts for letting us use their space once again. Every year the food is one of the things that everyone raves about. Thank you to Ambrosia Foods for outdoing yourselves yet again. May as well keep the theme of washrooms going this week! A fantastic quarterly review of passenger feedback received within our facilities as gathered and analysed by our service partners FeedbackNow, thank you to Carolane Borgeaud for your presentation and insight this morning. Some key facts we have taken away this morning and are extremely proud of... - 505,409 passenger votes collected in the quarter! - Despite a massive surge of passengers (summer peak), satisfaction levels actually increased! - Manchester Airport now finds itself scoring above the national average of washroom satisfaction across other major UK airports in the UK, as measured by FeedbackNow. - 80% of direct competitors in the UK saw a drop in performance vs Q2 whilst MAN improved! To leave the summer season behind being a staggering 5.4% up on PAX satisfaction vs where we entered Summer is phenomenal. Given that this summer was Manchester Airport's busiest only compounds the scale of this achievement.
