?? Excited & humbled to be opening the application and referral process soon for our Bike Mechanic Training & Employment Program for Formerly Incarcerated individuals (Bike Path) here at Bike New York. We have truly come a long way! ?? In 2024, 45 people graduated and went on to be hired as full-time seasonal bike mechanics earning?$25.25/hr at Motivate LLC maintaining the vast Citi Bike fleets across NYC. We are seeing retention rates rise to 75%, promotions, and much more! ?? Micro-mobility & bike-share systems are booming in the United States. We are pleased to create a workforce development program transforming lives and communities by providing opportunities into this expanding industry. ???? Thanks to our referral organizations from this past year: Hour Children, Inc. The Fortune Society, The HOPE Program, The Fedcap Group, Exodus Transitional Community, Inc. Bard Prison Initiative, St. Nicks Alliance, Housing Works and NYC Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice. Big thanks to the team at Motivate LLC for continuing to partner on this amazing program.
