How do brands win the Big Game? ?? Channing Sizemore answers: a 30-second Super Bowl ad costs >$7M, so brands are getting creative beyond TV. For brands that can afford it, they’re developing integrated marketing campaigns to make a greater impact. Taco Bell has been teasing their ad ahead of the game this year by leaning into experiential shenanigans with their Live Más Drive-Thru Cam, essentially an amusement park ride camera but in the drive-thru. Customers downloaded the Taco Bell app before getting their pictures taken for a chance to be included in their Super Bowl spot. But not all brands want to invest $7M in a TV spot. In 2013, Oreo didn’t run an ad but when the lights went out in the stadium, they quickly made the now famous “You Can Still Dunk In The Dark” tweet that drove over 10k retweets, 19k likes, and 5k shares within an hour. Our pro tip? If you don't have a $7M budget, keep your eyes out for trends and moments that could apply to your brand and take advantage next week. #superbowl #biggame #marketing #paidmedia

Our team asked the question: "In 2025 - what is the value of traditional buying?" Channing Sizemore, Director, Paid Media responded: "Traditional media still holds value in a digital age because of the heightened visibility and influence of placements such as billboards and TV. And when integrated well with digital strategies, these placements can boost the reach and effectiveness of campaigns." What are YOUR thoughts on traditional in 2025?
