We are renovating the former Higher Ground Boutique Hotel into 12 new apartments that will be HOME to houseless mothers and babies for generations to come! Reflecting on our experience at the Night of Compassion hosted by MOTHER'S REFUGE on Friday, October 4th, we feel truly honored to have participated in such a meaningful event. Mother's Refuge plays a vital role in supporting young mothers and their children, helping them build brighter futures. Forvis Mazars US is making a significant impact this week by offering numerous volunteer opportunities to its employees! Volunteers lent a hand at MOTHER'S REFUGE, an Impact 100 organization that provides a safe home for pregnant and parenting young moms and babies that do not have a stable or permanent place to live. Through their Transitional Living Program, pregnant and parenting young moms are provided with a safe and secure apartment, offering stability for young families to learn budgeting, life skills, and practice parenting in a safe environment. In 2023 alone, they provided over 11,000 overnight stays. Witnessing our corporate partners support our partner organizations is truly remarkable.
