关于我们
BUILDING AND GROWING SINCE 1948 The northern Ohio communities that surround us have undergone nearly complete transformations during Mosser Construction’s history, which began in 1948. And we’ve been involved in so much of it! When Charles Mosser incorporated the company, he led us first into projects within the educational system. Our earliest projects began with elementary schools, which naturally led to high schools and eventually colleges. Commercial buildings and medical facilities were part of the early mix. Water treatment plants relied on Mosser. By the early 1950s, we were fully immersed in the bridge building business in connection with the Ohio and Indiana toll roads being built. As we continued to diversify, Mosser quickly became known as the leading builder for jails and prisons in our region. Do you remember all the excitement in 1978 surrounding the building of the world’s highest, fastest, double racing wooden roller coaster at Cedar Point? That was us! Piece by piece we assembled The Gemini to the thrill of thousands of kids and parents, who still today, scream and laugh on that iconic ride. Our diversity is just one thing that sets up apart from others. As an ESOP company since 1985, our employees are motivated by their ownership of Mosser Construction and are loyal to its goals, standards, safety, and quality. We will continue to stretch our wings, build, innovate, and grow. Watch us!

As we look forward to Thanksgiving, take a moment to appreciate what you have and think about how you can give back so that others can feel grateful too. Recently, The Mosser Group embraced volunteer opportunities by preparing meals at the Ronald McDonald House in Toledo for families with children in the hospital, and volunteering at Countryside Nursing Home in Fremont, where we helped residents play bingo and assisted in facilitating a Halloween party. The gratitude shared by the families at the Ronald McDonald House and the residents at Countryside deeply moved us and reminded us of the real impact we can make. During this season of Thanksgiving, we encourage everyone to consider the gift of volunteering your time. Knowing you made a difference is truly heartwarming.

Mosser was honored to take part in the recent American Heart Association “STEM Goes Red Event,” aimed at inspiring young women to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. We not only shared our real-world experiences with these young ladies, but also engaged them in a construction-themed version of Trivial Pursuit. Participants answered questions about our Build Ohio Award-winning Kelleys Island Glacial Groves project! Free pizzas were awarded as prizes for correctly answering questions such as the cubic yards of concrete used on the project, the tons of stone replaced, and the origin of the Kelleys Island name. We hope to have inspired these young, bright minds to pursue future careers in STEM-related fields.
