Over the past couple of months, Moso had the incredible opportunity to visit the offices of Bank of America, Radian Capital, and New Enterprise Associates (NEA). Our students were excited and learned an incredible amount from professionals in investment banking, growth equity, and venture capital. These career treks have been incredibly eye-opening as our students prepare to launch their professional journeys in the coming years. "We got more than just recruiting opportunities on these treks; we gained a deep dive into how to best prepare for and navigate the world post-graduation," says Allen Yao, Moso's founding partner.

Exciting News from Moso: We're thrilled to announce the kickoff of our spring semester, which starts with conversations with awesome founders doing groundbreaking work. By partnering with leading investors, we can continue to support exceptional founders while giving our students an experiential learning experience. Our goal is to maintain the momentum from last semester, identifying and facilitating investments in companies like Elythea. Our team is not only enthusiastic but also entrepreneurial, comprising students from diverse backgrounds beyond just investing. Our dynamic team is composed of former founders, software engineers, designers, and much more. We're proud to leverage this diversity to uncover the best ideas. We're excited to talk to founders building in consumer tech, gaming, health tech, aerospace/defense, and vertical software/SaaS. We're excited to announce that we've facilitated an investment for Elythea (YC S23), a MedTech startup using ML to catch and prevent pregnancy complications. We've sourced and diligenced the company, resulting in an investment by our venture partner in the startup's $1.5M seed round. "Be dynamic — not just with my team and partnering investor, but with the startup founder as well. They deserve to be kept in the loop as much as everyone else. Trust — they will appreciate it very much," says Evelyn Nguyen, the first-year investment analyst at Moso who facilitated this investment. Check out our blog post on why we believe in Elythea!
