Well, I did a thing. ?? Thanks to the generosity of my friend, education thought leader Michael Horn of the Clayton Christensen Institute, I now have published a book chapter with Harvard University via the larger work, "School Rethink 2.0." ?? In Chapter 7 - "Unleashing a Movement for Profession-Based Learning," I share the journey of the CAPS Network and how we’ve reimagined education by immersing students in real-world, profession-based experiences. Too often, traditional systems make innovation invisible—but when students work alongside industry professionals, tackle real challenges, and own their learning, everything changes. True transformation requires more than new models; it demands a movement mentality—one that prioritizes shared purpose over individual agendas and embraces unselfish collaboration to create real impact. The opportunity is in front of us, and it starts with rethinking what’s possible in education, working together, and putting students at the center of everything we do. It was my great pleasure to highlight other models providing excellent support and programming for students and educators, including Blue Valley School District, NAF, Northeastern University, Open Way Learning, District C, and Learner-Centered Collaborative.
