It's been inspiring to see the outpouring of love, compassion, and renewed commitment to the work from our grantee partner and funder communities as we all process the implications of the election for the environmental movement. Ben Gose shares five great tips for organizations to get started on scenario planning for the election in this piece from The Chronicle of Philanthropy. Last week, Mosaic's Program Manager, Moriah Jacobs, attended the "New Era, New Leaders: 5 Years to 30x30" conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico, hosted by America the Beautiful for All Coalition. The Coalition is uniting land, freshwater, and ocean advocates and activists who reflect the diversity of the U.S. and territories to meet the goal of 30x30 in a way that reflects the promise of Justice40. The convening provided an opportunity for folks to connect and share stories, discuss effective ways to build power, share learnings, align goals, dance and much more! Last evening, we hosted a stunning reception above the Columbia River Gorge. Our new Executive Director,?Eva Hernandez, delivered a talk on Mosaic’s main priorities and invited others to join us in our mission to build a stronger more influential environmental movement.
