Toys like magnet tiles are more than just fun—they’re a great tool in ABA therapy to support skill development through play! One of our Behavior Technicians, Abby, shared with us, "My favorite toy to play with is the magnet tiles! They help with fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and (the most fun part) creativity! The sky is the limit on what we can build—castles, zoos, and so much more! The kids love creating new things... and, of course, knocking down their towers when they're done!" We love using play to spark learning and growth in ABA therapy! Today was World Behavior Analysis Day — a global celebration honoring the birthday of B.F. Skinner and recognizing the impact of this science on our society. It’s because of this science that I am able to bring my two biggest passions together: (1) working with children and (2) helping others. Every day I consider myself so lucky to have a job that I genuinely love! And every day, I’m grateful to work alongside this group of ladies who represent our leadership team at Mosaic Pediatric Therapy’s Midlothian, VA office — amazing BCBAs and a phenomenal AOM!! Ayrsley Clinic got creative, making heartfelt Valentine’s Day cards and hosting a "Stock the House" donation drive to provide much-needed supplies for the Charlotte Ronald McDonald House. They even had their clinic kids help decoration their donation collection house! ?? ?? Midlothian Clinic joined in on the fun, crafting Valentine’s Day cards to bring joy to families staying at the Richmond Ronald McDonald House. ???
