It’s great to be in Adelaide today for The Adviser Magazine's Better Business Summit. #MortgageChoice owner Scott Bament?took the stage?with?The Adviser’s Annie Kane for a live recording of?the Elite Broker podcast. Scott shared his journey to broking, how he has grown his business over the last 20 years and the importance of prioritising culture in a high-performing team. He also shared his passion for giving back to his local community through his work with Operation Flinders Foundation to increase the financial literacy of?at-risk youth. With the day’s proceeding wrapping up, everyone’s starting to think about dressing to the nines for the Better Business Awards this evening. Last night, the Federal Government handed down the 2025/26 budget revealing Labor’s housing support package in full.?? ? The measures included a focus on addressing pain points for homeowners amongst cost-of-living pressures and an extension to the Help to Buy scheme benefiting prospective homeowners, mortgage holders and lenders.?? ?
