With only six months from contract to operations, the City of Corpus Christi and Morrow Energy have a lot to celebrate. Their new RNG facility is turning a liability into an asset, keeping methane out of the environment and generating clean, renewable energy.

Today, we celebrate the incredible achievements, strength, and resilience of women all around the world. In honor of International Women's Day, we're shining a spotlight on one of the many incredible women who contribute their talents and passion to our team every day, Cristina Marquez. Cristina has been with Morrow Energy for three years as a Project Engineer. Prior to her time with Morrow, Cristina pursued her academic passions at Texas Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Bioengineering. Cristina has played an integral role in the engineering success of the Corpus Christi Landfill Plant. Her dedication and expertise have been instrumental in the development of this cutting-edge 4,000 SCFM landfill gas upgrading plant, which was completed within an impressive six months from the signing of the contract to selling gas. Currently, Cristina continues to drive innovation and sustainability as the lead project engineer for a 3,000 SCFM Landfill Plant in Michigan. It can be achieved through a combination of emission reduction and emission removal. Morrow owns and operates 5 landfill gas (LFG) to renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities with a combined LFG treating capacity of 35,500 SCFM (Standard Cubic Feet Per Minute). This reduction in greenhouse gas emissions has a dramatic positive impact on our environment.
