I'm excited to be part of the major renovations ahead at MRL.

Morrisson-Reeves Library has started a comprehensive Building Masterplan ahead of expected major renovations. We are eager to address critical structural needs. Construction on our building began in 1973, and over the past 50 years, how we use libraries has changed. This plan will allow us to reimagine our building to better serve the evolving needs of our community. The Building Masterplan aims to: ???Improve structural integrity ???Create a more accessible and inclusive environment ???Modernize our technology infrastructure ???Enhance collaborative and community gathering spaces We are excited to take this journey with you, and we want to hear your thoughts! Your feedback is invaluable in shaping the future of MRL. We're hosting two upcoming community forums to gather your input for the Masterplan. They will be held on:? ???Tuesday, Dec 10th at 5:30 PM ???Saturday, Dec 14th at 10:30 AM During the renovation process, we anticipate relocating library operations to a temporary location. Library Assistant, Youth Services Part-time, Non-exempt, 28 hours a week, $12.00 an hour Library Assistant serves as a paraprofessional providing services to our younger patrons and their caregivers. Responsibilities include public service duties at the circulation desk, shelving, shelf reading, and reading recommendations. Marketing Associate, Engagement Services Part-time, non-exempt position, 26 hours a week, $13.50 an hour Marketing Associate will carry out strategies that increase the community’s awareness of the Library’s services and programs. The Marketing Associate is responsible for ensuring a recognizable, unique, and consistent voice and visual identity. #hiring #libraryjobs
