I'm excited to be part of the major renovations ahead at MRL.
Morrisson-Reeves Library has started a comprehensive Building Masterplan ahead of expected major renovations. We are eager to address critical structural needs. Construction on our building began in 1973, and over the past 50 years, how we use libraries has changed. This plan will allow us to reimagine our building to better serve the evolving needs of our community. The Building Masterplan aims to: ???Improve structural integrity ???Create a more accessible and inclusive environment ???Modernize our technology infrastructure ???Enhance collaborative and community gathering spaces We are excited to take this journey with you, and we want to hear your thoughts! Your feedback is invaluable in shaping the future of MRL. We're hosting two upcoming community forums to gather your input for the Masterplan. They will be held on:? ???Tuesday, Dec 10th at 5:30 PM ???Saturday, Dec 14th at 10:30 AM During the renovation process, we anticipate relocating library operations to a temporary location. We will let you know about the details of this transition and the renovation timeline as soon as they are finalized. Stay connected with us for ongoing updates. Information will be shared through our website, social media, and email.
