This Tuesday, we hosted an inspiring Food Expo to introduce an exciting preview of our new patient menu set to launch early next year! Earlier this year we partnered with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Food Policy in the Plant-Powered Carbon Challenge. The Challenge aims to reduce food-related carbon emissions by 25 percent by 2030. Our team has committed to incorporate plant-forward foods in our new patient menu. This menu isn’t just about meeting sustainability goals—it’s also about offering nutritious and flavorful choices that align with what patients want today. Our event brought together Nursing, Senior Leadership, Support Services, and Food Service Front Line Associates to sample and discuss fresh, nourishing options that will enhance our patients' dining experience. After 4 decades of dedication to training hundreds/thousands of people on accounting and eFinance , Gina Smith, Sr. Director of Field Applications Support, will be retiring in December. Gina has worked diligently since 1983 using her bookkeeping, mathematics, computer and finance skills to lead and innovate accounting and financial systems throughout the country. Though we are sad to see her go, we appreciate all of her time and expertise she has shared with us, and are excited for her to be able to spend more quality time with her 2 grandsons!
