We're excited to see Morris Adjmi return to New Orleans for Tulane’s Back Together lecture series! Don't miss it! #morrisadjmiarchitects #wearema #nycarchitecturestudio
We're excited to welcome Morris Adjmi, FAIA (A '83) for our next 'Back Together' lecture! Join us on February 24th from 6-7 PM at Freeman Auditorium in the Woldenburg Art Center as the founder and owner of Morris Adjmi Architects shares insights from his distinguished career in architecture in 'Standing Out by Fitting In: A Study of Contrast & Coexistence.' Growing up in New Orleans, Adjmi's architectural perspective was shaped by our city's unique character. Now, as founder and principal of Morris Adjmi Architects (MA), he creates buildings that are both contextual and unmistakably contemporary. In this lecture, Adjmi will share insights from his 13-year collaboration with Pritzker Prize-winning architect Aldo Rossi and demonstrate MA's conversation-driven design ethos through a series of case studies. He'll explore how the firm's research-based methodology translates into thoughtful, expressive architecture that enriches the urban fabric while creating dialogue between past and present, form and function, and tradition and innovation. This William Kay and Nancy Proctor Turner Lecture is free and open to the public. For any questions, please contact Benjamin Neal at bneal1@tulane.edu.
