关于我们

Morgan Geospatial is growing!!! I am changing gears and turning my focus and attention to relevant geospatial and UAV drone hardware, and particularly focused on bringing a family of specialized high speed fixed wing vertical take-off and landing airframes into production by the end of this year. While I/we will continue to provide UAV aerial services, I am now bringing engineering and design services, and custom fabrication into the business as well. Look for updates these next few months as I hope to introduce at least two of our first HSVTOL Drone/UAS packages. I have been blessed to be invited to participate in the Oregon UAS Accelerator program out at the Pendleton UAS Test Range, which will help me to literally accelerate the completion of the UAS airframes and commercial packages!!

  • Just wanted to share this post from here as well, regarding Morgan Geospatial being part of the Oregon UAS Accelerator program out in Pendleton. We had the ribbon cutting for the renovated facilities and award ceremony to kick off our involvement in the spring program there. Here is the link to their article: https://lnkd.in/gxpbUqmp

?? Celebrating a New Chapter in UAS Innovation: Ascent to Excellence II Recap Last Friday, over 100 leaders, innovators, and partners gathered at the Oregon UAS Accelerator to mark two historic milestones:? 1. the grand opening of our renovated facility and 2 the launch of our second cohort of visionary startups. The energy was electric, and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who joined us in shaping this pivotal moment for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in the Pacific Northwest. ?? A Momentous Ribbon-Cutting The evening began with an inspiring ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Joseph Wyno (Executive Director, Oregon UAS Accelerator), Mayor McKennon McDonald (City of Pendleton Oregon), Andrew Cutler (Office of Sen. Senator Ron Wyden), Jessica Keys (Office of Sen. Jeff Merkley), and tribal leaders John D. Tovey III "J.D" AICP (Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation) and John Shafer (@Umatilla County Commissioner) . ?? Meet & Greet with Our Innovators Everyone in attendance got to meet and network with our new cohort of innovators who showcased their technologies and receive the initial dispersement of their $40,000 non-dilutive grant, provided by Business Oregon through the Oregon UAS Accelerator. Meet Our Innovators: ? 3AUTONOMY LLC ? Accipiter Aeroworks ? DroneSpotter ? Morgan Geospatial LLC ? Ziz Defense Company ?? A HUGE Thank You to Our Ascent to Excellence II Sponsors & Partners! Last week's event wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors and strategic partners. From powering the innovation on display to capturing the event's highlights, your commitment to the Oregon UAS Accelerator is truly appreciated! • I am excited to share that Morgan Geospatial is changing/growing; Finally, after several years of providing part time aerial UAS services as a side gig, it is time to expand my lifelong experiences in remote and autonomous, and actual flight too, with my passion for safer and truly flexible aircraft configurations. I have been dreaming about a specific fixed-wing VTOL aircraft design for so many years. There is much more to share at some point about this project's history and all the amazing and hard things that have led me to this point. In all of that Morgan Geospatial will now officially add drone engineering/design and manufacturing/production of its own proprietary airframes, and custom projects for others, to the services side of the business. MorgGeo will become an all-inclusive and cross-supportive business... still providing and hopefully even expanding aerial services with the increased efficiencies and capabilities that the new bespoke aircraft will provide internally and for others as completed products. Amazingly, God has aligned things now... for such a time as this...... for me to have another chance to fine tune and really finish these designs. One of my favorite verses is the Bible is Proverbs 16:9, and the related teachings and encouragements there... As men we make plans in our heart, but it is the Lord who establishes our steps......... Amen!! So I am indeed incredibly excited to share this news: I have been blessed to be chosen as one of just five companies/projects to participate in a focused development cohort at the Oregon UAS Accelerator out in Pendleton!!! The path that led me here and prepared me for this contains so many awesome stories and life lessons, but I will share those another time. Now, after all these years, I get to return to the roots of this design and my original heart's mission to complete these sub-scale sUAS/Drone versions first and prepare them for production. I will be posting updates as things develop and I look forward to sharing completed designs and flight videos of those in the next few months as this program helps me succeed in the final details to bring them to market!! A huge and deep thanks and much appreciation goes to Joseph Wyno and his whole team out in Oregon, who have greatly encouraged me these past few months and have awarded me the honor of joining them there. Check out the program out there at the Pendleton UAS Range that hosts the Oregon UAS Accelerator programs at https://oregonuas.org/. The group there and their teams exist solely to support and grow and encourage all things UAS.
