关于我们
The Missouri Research and Education Network (MOREnet) provides Internet connectivity, access to Internet2, technical support, videoconferencing services and training to Missouri's K-12 schools, colleges and universities, public libraries, health care, state government and other affiliated organizations. Established in 1991, MOREnet operates as a unit within the University of Missouri, and is based in Columbia, Mo. The MOREnet network is the foundation infrastructure. Members of the education community interact with each other via data and video services; public sector business applications are built and conducted on it; and Missouri citizens interact with their state government through it. MOREnet is not a private Internet service provider and does not provide services, including dial-up access, on an individual basis.

Protecting our children's data: Children and Teen's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA 2.0) and the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) both have updated versions that have passed the United States Senate and are now in the hands of the House of Representatives. Regardless of whether these bills will be signed into law, the FTC has been clear that they will continue to enforce issues regarding children’s privacy. Read more about it on our blog. https://lnkd.in/gxhsxY_J

This week we hosted 8th graders from Blair Oaks in our MOREnet Immersive Learning Lab (The MILL). They learned about the concept of prototyping by using the Lego Spike Primes to build a robot (which they raced) then designed a retro arcade game using Microsoft MakeCode. #computerscience
