Plano ISD broke ground today on its new Career and Technology Education Center—marking a new beginning for hands-on learning at the district! Equipped with cutting-edge spaces for advanced programs—like Robotics, Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts, and Cybersecurity—the new Plano ISD CTE Center is built to empower students with real-world skills. The structural phase of the new Legacy Elementary School at Uvalde CISD is complete after last week's topping off ceremony with Uvalde CISD Moving Forward Foundation. Families of the May 2022 tragedy at Robb Elementary, and those closely involved with the school's development, signed their names onto the building's final beam. That beam will be placed above the school's entrance. Construction on Legacy Elementary School began in February of this year, and is approximately 41% complete.
