We’re incredibly “proud” to have partnered with CALOR in Chicago to develop their bold 3-year strategic plan—and to close it out in person with their phenomenal team yesterday! For over 30 years, CALOR has been a trusted leader in advancing health equity, HIV care, and support services for Latine and LGBTQ+ communities in Chicago. Their mission—to empower individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS through holistic, culturally responsive services—is not just necessary, it’s deeply personal to so many of us. As a Latine and LGBTQ-owned consulting firm, this partnership holds special meaning for Morales Consulting. It reflects the values we live by and the future we’re working toward—where organizations like CALOR are not only sustaining but scaling their impact. Their work is a light during these dark times. Grateful to the CALOR team for your trust and for the work you do every day to uplift and care for our communities: Omar Lopez, Emily Lucena, Alfredo Flores, Edgar Merez & the entire staff.

Morales Consulting was deeply honored to be invited to the Hispanics in Philanthropy reception in Mexico City. It was a true joy to gather in community with long-time colleagues, client partners, and new friends—all united by a shared commitment to resourcing our communities with love, trust, and strategy. There is something incredibly powerful about being in the same space with fellow philanthropy leaders who are not only dedicated to our communities but are also actively interrogating what this moment demands of us. We were especially grateful for the opportunity to build and strengthen bridges with Mexico-based funders and nonprofit partners who are doing inspiring, transformative work on the ground. Participating in this cross-cultural, international exchange reminded us of the importance of collective learning and shared purpose across borders. In a time that calls for boldness, clarity, and deep care, this gathering was a soul-filling reminder that we are not alone in this work—and that our impact is greater when we lead together. Thank you to HIP for bringing us together in such meaningful and energizing ways.

Black Girls Code (BGC) is a national leader empowering young women of color with computer programming education to nurture their careers in tech. We were honored to partner with BGC to enhance their capacity for building, sustaining and scaling strong community partnerships. We customized and implemented comprehensive training sessions for BGC's Programs team. These interactive sessions blended research, best practices, and actionable framework and tools. The engagement culminated in the development of a Train-the-Trainer Playbook to scale community partnership efforts nationally. We look forward to witnessing their continued growth and impact as they expand the pipeline of talented women of color shaping the future of tech across the country! #BlackGirlsCode #WomenInTech #CourageToGrow

Last week's Obama Foundation Democracy Forum came at a critical moment, and Morales Consulting was honored to attend. As we approach a new year filled with challenges and opportunities, the forum served as a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from collaboration and collective action. It highlighted the potential to bridge differences and work together to drive meaningful change. A standout moment for Morales Consulting was witnessing Berto Aguayo introduce President Obama, a moment that brought Chicago pride to the forefront, with cheers that resonated throughout the room. Morales Consulting extends gratitude to Dora Gonzalez, Malik Johnson, Odalis Arcadio, and Christopher Crater for their tireless efforts in advancing progress for our city and country. Their dedication exemplifies the kind of leadership and community commitment that inspires the firm’s work.
