Moore Nanotechnology Systems is proud to attend and participate in the 73rd CIRP General Assembly in Thessaloniki, Greece - August 18-24, 2024. This year's distinguished event is proudly hosted by the esteemed Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and brings together approximately 700 experts from academia and industry in the field of production engineering.
Dr. Sinan Badrawy, Nanotech’s CTO and Main Technical Representative for CIRP, will be discussing Manufacturing Methods for Ultra-Precision Applications in a technical presentation during the Corporate Members Advisory Group Meeting.
Along with Dr. Badrawy, Dr. Matthew Davies, Nanotech’s Director of Applications and Global Training, will also be in attendance at this year’s General Assembly. Dr. Davies has been highly active in the CIRP since 1996, currently serving as the Vice-Chairman of the United States Fellows Group and is in his sixth year on the Editorial Committee.
The General Assembly encompasses various aspects of production engineering through its Scientific Technical Committees, which includes design methodologies and tools, machines, production processes, life cycle engineering and assembly, precision and metrology, surfaces, and production systems and organizations.
Founded in 1951, the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP - College International pour la Recherche en Productique) aims to address issues through scientific international cooperation related to modern production and technology. CIRP has approximately 600 members worldwide.
