Dylan and Zach are out collecting crucial cross-section data across the riverbed, measuring at different points to capture its shape, width, and depth. Using a total station, they're able to take precise distance, angle, and elevation measurements of the river bottom. This detailed mapping supports our engineering and hydrology projects, helping us understand the river’s unique flow and contours.
