Earlier this year, Ziebart International (the worldwide leader in premium automotive appearance & protection services that extend the life of vehicles), selected me to voice a series of spots as part of a new advertising campaign celebrating their 65 years in business, "Your Vehicle's Best Defense." Now that the Olympics have wrapped up, I can share this knowing that it's aired already. Thank you to my agent Kate Baker of Moore Creative Talent, Inc. for providing the opportunity to be part of this project. When I spoke with one of the producers before self-directing the final recordings, his feedback was, "we loved what you did on your audition. You gave each word its own feeling, you just got it. I wish we'd found you weeks ago!" Hiring experienced professional talent saves you time in the production cycle, and ensures your messaging lands as-intended. I decided a long time ago that I was never going to be part of the race to the bottom. I'd train and keep up to date on styles and what's booking, know what that particular piece is asking for of the actor and put my best efforts out for consideration. I'm not trying to underbid to win a job, I'd rather out-perform to earn it. Edited to add that with how this project came to be and the story behind it, this one felt really good to be a part of, and I'm happy I get to share the end result.
