Up and ripping… The latest addition to our CNC arsenal is a 10’x30’x4’ 5 axis. Yet to be named (taking suggestions), we love her and the promise of next-level tooling coming out of our shop. Shoutout to Ben, Chris, Garrett and Tyler for an awesome effort!

Rudders are a big part of our business and when a rudder for an Alan Andrews ‘49 came across our desk, we were excited for the opportunity! The challenge of this rudder was that–like many rudders built for West coast racing– it needed to have a knife in the front of the blade to cut seaweed. We spoke with Randy Moreno, program manager of It’s OK, and our own engineering team about the critical elements of a stow-away knife system.
