Postgres (+ ??) is amongst the 10 fastest systems on ClickBench. We built the fastest analytic system on Parquet—and even outperformed DuckDB. And this is just the start. There are plenty of low hanging fruits for DuckDB (and pg_mooncake) that we're excited to work together. Open data formats are here for good, and now with pretty impressive performance.

Neon ?? pg_mooncake: serverless Postgres + Analytics pg_mooncake separates storage and compute, similar to Neon's storage engine. The result? Fast AND serverless analytics; right in Postgres. pg_mooncake v0.1 is now live on Neon. ??

Postgres is now top 10 fastest on Clickbench –– a benchmark for analytic systems. What’s more, all compute is within Postgres, and all tables are managed directly by Postgres. ??

Day 131; and pg_mooncake is out of beta. pg_mooncake is the easiest way to fast analytics in Postgres. With v0.1, we double down on what makes us win: being easy, and fast? (like really fast).
