    Big announcement today as MoonBall brings Black Sunday to market!! Black Sunday is a feature documentary storying of a group of New York City firefighters who faced one of the most devastating events for the FDNY since September 11. It recounts the impact of the day, which saw three firefighters die in two fires, one a tenement fire in the Bronx and one at a house fire in Brooklyn. It marked the first time that firefighters had died at two separate incidents on the same day since 1918 and was the deadliest day for the department since 9/11. It will also explore themes of mental health, the culture of first responders, and the bonds that unite them in the face of adversity. We couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this story and big shoutout to our Head of Development, Robert Cervini, who has put in years of effort to bring this story to life, our Executive Producers, Anthony Seratelli & Eric Hosmer for their support, and of course our partners, Producer Shane Abbess and Director Luke Wheatley, for their tireless efforts to make this a reality! ??
